Welcome to The Enterprise – an economic development partnership between Choctaw and Webster Counties in Mississippi. These two counties are full of natural resources and beauty, including Choctaw Lake, White Creek Lake and the Natchez Trace Parkway. Our residents make the most of our natural resources through work and play. This area of the state has a rich history in the timber, agriculture, coal and manufacturing industries. We are home to a lignite power plant and two natural gas plants, which supply power to multiple utilities in and outside of our state.
Choctaw County is rated first in the state of Mississippi for providing the best value in public education. This county not only leads the state in education, but also in having low property taxes. These two factors with a top ten low crime rating in the state of Mississippi makes Choctaw County one of the best places to live in the state.
Similarly, Webster County offers residents first-class resources and amenities in a quiet and pristine setting. The Webster County School District is consistently ranked as a top school district in Mississippi.
Eupora is home to North Mississippi Medical Center hospital offering acute care and long term hospital beds and specialists available in pediatrics, internal medicine, radiology, pathology and family medicine.
